The Nairobi Festival

The Nairobi Festival is an annual cultural and entertainment event organized by the Nairobi County Government to celebrate the city's rich diversity in music, arts, food, fashion, and sports. It was launched in 2022 by Governor Johnson Sakaja to promote Nairobi’s creative economy, tourism, and local businesses.  

The festival features:  
- Live performances from top Kenyan musicians, DJs, and cultural groups  
- Food and drinks showcasing Kenyan cuisine and international flavors  
- Art exhibitions and fashion shows  
- Sports and gaming activities 
- Business and innovation showcases  

It is usually held in December at Uhuru Park or other major venues in the city. The event aims to bring together Nairobi residents and visitors for fun, networking, and celebrating urban culture.
