Located just 7 km (about 4 miles) from the heart of Nairobi’s city center, Nairobi
National Park is a unique wildlife haven and the only national park in the world
that borders a capital city. Despite its proximity to the urban hustle, the park boasts a rich ecosystem with wide open grass plains and a backdrop of Nairobi's skyline.
Key Highlights:
Iconic Wildlife: Home to lions, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras,
wildebeests, gazelles, and more. It also harbors one of Kenya’s most
successful black rhino sanctuaries.
Birdwatcher's Paradise: Over 400 bird species recorded, including migratory
birds (seasonal), eagles, and ostriches.
This early morning drive offers a rare chance to witness African wildlife with
Nairobi’s skyscrapers in the background an unforgettable contrast of
nature and modern life.

selected local restaurant. This is a chance to relax, recharge, and enjoy Nairobi’s
welcoming hospitality.

"A Close Encounter with Rothschild’s Giraffes"
Situated in the leafy suburb of Lang’ata, the Giraffe Centre is a conservation and
education center run by the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife (AFEW-Kenya).
It was established to protect the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe, which is found
only in parts of East Africa.
What to Expect:
Hand-Feeding Giraffes: Guests can feed giraffes from a raised wooden
platform, making it a fun and interactive experience. You may even receive
a ‘giraffe kiss’ if you're brave enough!
Conservation Education: Learn about giraffe conservation and the history of
the Rothschild’s giraffe rescue and breeding program.
Nature Trail: Stroll through the peaceful Gogo River Nature Trail, home to
birds, warthogs, and small antelopes.
Photo Opportunities: Fantastic setting for memorable photos with these
graceful giants.
This is an ideal stop for families, nature lovers, and anyone interested in
wildlife protection and education.
